| Bafana vs Italy | Westcott Primary School had their own World Cup Soccer tournament during the second term. The Foundation Phase final was Bafana Bafana vs Italy. Westcott's Bafana Bafana team won the final! |
| International Childrens Day | The Grade 4A's celebrated International Children's Day. Parents were asked to secretly write a note to their child celebrating how wonderful they are. Picture is Jessica Vaughan with her letter. |
| Portugal vs Nigeria | Westcott Primary School had their own World Cup Soccer tournament during the second term. The Intermediate Phase final was Portugal vs Nigeria . Westcott's Nigerian team won the final. |

At the end of term 2, Westcott Primary School in Diepriver announced their head boy, deputy head boy, head girl and deputy head girl. Their parents were invited to final assembly where the announcement was made and badges awarded. Head boy: Austin Leak |
| Soccerball Donations | Mr Biddlecombe representing Tiletoria in Paarden Eiland kindly donated 10 soccerballs to Westcott Primary School in Diep River. Some of the soccerballs will be given to the aftercare children so that they have more games to play in the afternoon and the rest will be used for the soccer teams and during PE sessions. Westcott sends messages of thanks to Tiletoria for this generous donation. |
| Nelson Mandela 92nd birthday | The Grade 4A's at Westcott Primary in Diep River celebrated Nelson Mandela's 92nd birthday by making promises to Mr Mandela to help make the world a better place to live in just like he did. |
| 67 minutes for Mandela | Grade 5's of Westcott Primary School in Diep River decorated hands in support of Nelson MAndela's campaign to give 67 minutes to the community. |
